Organisation (brief description of session):
1. 2 defenders v 3 attaackers.1attacker must stay behind the ball. One touch allowed. One attacker to break out of the 20x20 area. into shaded area to score.
2. Geme evolves to 2v2 S goes behind ball to support both teams.
3. Game with one goalto attack to score. 3 defenders win then keep the ball. 7 min a game.
Technical:
Passing, tackling, shooting, dribbling, running with the ball.
Tactical:
Angles of support. Creating space for self and team. Recognition of 1/2s, 3rd man cross overs etc.
Physical:
Anaerobic work.Speed. endurance. Balance, agility.Co-ordination.
Psych/ Social:
All but one of the players displayed a terrific attitude and mental toughness.
Coaches Comments:
In very difficult conditions the players adapted well to the practice and improved their understanding of defending and attacking in th 3 sessions they participated in.
