See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization:
See figure. Flank areas are for nuetral players only, 1 in each. Play 3v3 or 4v4 in middle based on numbers. Two counter goals set up, full width and about 55 yards long max. Balls near each goal.
Instructions:
Play 4v4+2. Place wingers in wide areas. Nuetral players only have 2 touches. If players score off a cross, it is worth 5 points. Otherwise, goals are worth 1 point. Play 6 minute games.
Coaching Points:
- Body shape and first touch of wing players (positive first touch, cross?)
- Early crosses
- Movement to front or back post
- First touch finishing
Progressions/Regressions:
P) Add another ball into play
P) Wingers only have 1 touch to cross or play out of the flanks
P) Neutral players can now dribble out of area and score, but one of the players from the team in possession must take their place on the flank while they are in the middle area.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization:
Normal soccer, use up to half field based on numbers. Have a slightly bigger field for some fitness as well. Play 5v5 with GK and big goals if possible.
Instructions:
Play soccer 5v5 with corners and throw ins. Players can enter the flanks, but only have 2 touches in the defensive half on the flank and 1 touch in attacking half on the flanks. First time finishes from crosses are worth 5 goals, otherwise they only count for 1 goal.
Coaching Points:
- Early crosses
- Use of width to create space in the middle for the runners
- Late runs by midfielders to create space and time at top of the box
- 45 cut back cross
- Balls played into space on the flank, not to feet if possible
Progressions/Regressions:
P) Free play. Play 2-2-1 vs 2-1-3

Organization:
See figure. Players split into two teams. Each team has a ball. One team has target players east and west and one team has target players north and south. Area is 44x40.
Instructions:
Each team plays together to get the most points. Teams score a point by connecting the target players or they can get 3 points by connecting the target player if every player in the middle touches the ball before that is completed. Play 1 minute games. Team with the most points wins the round. Play best of 3 rounds.
Coaching Points:
- Body shape while receiving the ball
- Eyes up
- Quick ball movement, one, two touch play
- Quickly transitioning if ball is lost
- Quality and weight of passes
Progressions/Regressions:
P) Remove one ball. Teams now play the same game, but against each other. All the other balls with coach. Coach feeds balls. Play three, 1 minute rounds.
