Players stand in two lines standing opposite each other, about 15 yards apart.
The first player runs to about half way with the ball then passes to the other line and runs to join the back of that line.
The next player then does the same, so it is a continuous cycle of running and passing.
After a while, put a line of cones in the middle of the lane and players must go through each of the following skills:
Left-->Right / Right-->Left drags
Lifts over the cones
Spin move around the cones (ball in hook of the stick)
NOTE: For more advanced players, focus on first touch moving the ball forward (not trap stationary and then move forward).

Set up a zig-zag of cones about 5 yards apart on angles going towards the circle but end your last coneabout 2 yards away from the top of the circle (that’s the “footwork preparation space” for shooting - remind players of the LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT footwork before passing or shooting).
1. quick change of directions to the cones, keeping ball and feet “inside” the cones - sharp change of directions AT the cones
2. dribbling around the cones on the zig-zag, strong stick only
3. repeat (2) using reverse stick to turn around the left cones
4. do curls around the cones ie: when dribbling right curl right (on reverse) around cone then dribble left and curl strong stick (left) around the cone
5. CHALLENGE: repeat (4) with only the ball around the cones and keep the feet inside the cones
Team challenge: how quickly can we all get through?? How many goals can we score in 2 minutes?See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Hockey images.
Player A passes square to Player B
Player A runs on a diagonal to the top of the circle.
Player B passes straight to Player A who shoots.
Player B then immediately gets a new ball and repeats going the other way with the next person in line

Organize players into 2 teams, one behind each top cone with a pile of balls.
One player from each team starts in the box at the top of the D on their side.
The person in the front of the line for Team 1 passes a ball diagonally to the person in Team 2's box.
That person has to receive and shoot with only 2 touches and must stay inside the box the whole time. They then go to the back of their line.
The person at the front of the line for Team 2 passes to the person in Team 1's box and they do the same thing.
Count the number of goals for each team and losing team does a punishment.
Notes:
- Players only stay on their side for a certain number of balls then everyone switches.
- If no goalies, goal only counts if it goes in the far bottom corner)

Split the group into 2 teams. Set up 2 identical courses towards goal. Put a pile of balls at the start of each course, somewhere near the 25yrd line. Line each team up on the baseline. When you say go, one player from each team sprints out to the balls, completest the course and scores a goal. Once their ball goes in the net, the next player from their team starts.
*If you have a lot of players, create a third or even a fourth group
**encourage speed through the course!
*** you can vary how they run to the balls: forwards running, backwards running, two foot hopping, one foot hopping, cartwheels, summersaults, crabwalk, bearcrawls... anything fun that gets them moving! (If doing cartwheels/summersaults/crabwalks/bearcrawls/anything where they need their hands, leave all sticks at the pile of balls for them to pick up when they arrive)

Aussie Drill:
Team Red starts with the ball attacking 3vs2 against blue. If blue steals the ball OR a goal is scored OR the ball goes out of play, the two blue players will be joined by a third blue player and go 3vs2 against 2 new red players. The joining attacking player can run with the ball or make a pass to start the transition. This pattern will continue for a predetermined amount of time (5 to 10 minutes). Adjust field dimensions and number of players as needed.

Players stand 10m away from each other and pass ball between. One ball between two players.
Start 10m away, beginning with push passing and two touch trapping.
Variations: coutinue to expand the distance between players and work on a variety of different passing techniques (ie push passing, sweep hits, upright hits, backhand sweeps).
