Player A passes square to player B. Player B plays into C who combines with D to play the ball out of the other end.

Key Teaching Points

Pass detail- accuracy,weight, surface

Receiving- How to receive,

Awareness- Check shoulders/awareness/detail on decision

Games challenge 1

Must play off nearest man, who has to use his partner to play out

Challenge 2

Must play off highest man on pitch, who must use his partner to play out

Challenge 3

Can play off either man but the receiver must combine with his partner to get the ball back before playing out

Clever play- round corners/ 1 touch if on/ set and spin/ overs sids/ passes with spin and disguise

Game- 3 v 2 in pitch, end players must play into blue players who must combine to play the ball out to the opposite end.

If Reds win ball (transition) the servers step onto pitch and play 5 v 3 for as long as possible.
