Organisation:
Still within the playing area previously set up.
Add two gates in each zone.
One player become a defender applying pressure NOT tackling.
The attacking player runs from one side to the other and must run through one of the gates.
The defender must apply pressure to prevent running through the gate, but can't tackle.
Progression:
Introduce tackling.
The player must get to the other side with out losing the ball to the defender.
Add time limit.
Limit the number of touches.

30 minutes
Organisation:
Team blue bibs.
Team red bibs.
6v6.
Add two channels either side of the practice area.
The player must get in to the channel and run down towards the oppositions goal - initially unopposed - the channel is a no tackling zone.
Drinks break half way.
Rotation of players as goalkeeper to allow for rest period.
Progression:
Players can be tackled in the channel.
Add minimum number of passes before shooting - 3-5 passes - dependent on ability of group.

Technical (15 mins)
Organisation:
Area split into 3 zones.
4 players per zone.
2 at the top and 2 at the bottom.
Each player must run with the ball to the other side of the zone.
At the end of the zone they pass the ball over to the next player.
Take the opportunity to talk players through the mechanics of running with the ball:
Get the ball out of feet
Make contact with laces
Head up
Get into running stride
Move quickly
Progressions:
Increase the space.
Time limit to reach the other side.
Limit the number of touches.
Regression:
Reduce the space.
