Reds must play 3 passes in their box to each other. The 4th pass must then be a long ball 'over the top' in an attempt to clear the black team. The yellows must control the ball and do the same.
Encourage confidence bringing the ball down with 1 touch and not allowing a bounce.
Team in the middle can intercept any bad passes. Can they meet any aerial balls with a confident defensive header? How should they position themselves?
Switch team in the middle.

Reds Objective is to score. Yellows must defend the aerial pass/cross and then have 7 seconds to attempt to score.
Ball starts with red CB who will play a pass to either of the CMs, who in then turn will look to play forward. Either by playing to the winger who can try and cross the ball, or by hitting a long ball into the forward. Look at working as a unit.
Yellows must deal with with threats, looking for communication between CBs and CDM. Who marks forward? What is the job of CDM acting as a screen.
When defending try be positive when attacking the ball. Don't allow the bounce but if it goes past one player emphasise importance of winning the second ball - job of sweeping player.

Warm up - Circuit (10 mins)
Circuit - all stations involve Aerial Control.
1) Server (S) feed ball to either player and shouts for either an attacking header or defensive header.
Key points - Attacking direct and down. Defensive 'up and out'
2) Server plays into one player who plays a volleyed pass to free player. They then become the feeder.
3) Practice control using head, Thighs, Chest etc and pass the ball back to server
4) Server with a football - 2 free players hopping on one leg play a volley back to server.
