Method:

Three teams of three, with two playingtogether against the other in a 6v3.
Two target players (Yellow) who startbetween the two goals on each end line.
The in-possession team(Reds) attempts to transfer the ball from one target player tothe other, using the possession team in the other half ofthe pitch (Yellows) if necessary.
If the out-of-possession team wins the ball back, theyshould attempt to score in the mini goals in the halfthey won possession.

Coaching Points:

Receiving the ball in a position that allows us to play forward
Challenge players to be able to see three corners of the pitch when receiving the ball.
Fast-paced passes to receivers' back foot.
Players should be able to receive the ball and move it away from pressure with first touch
Scanning when before receiving the ball.

Method:

The pitch is split into five vertical lanes. Width of the 18-yard box and 6-yard box
Reds set up as laid out with wing-backs in the wide zones.
The ball starts with the in-possession team, who should attempt to play out from the back to score in either of the two target goals on the halfway line. If the pressing team wins the ball they go and attempt to score in a quick transition to attack.

Coaching Points:

When the opposition is pressing high, the middle centre-back should push forward and look to play behind the opposition striker
wing-backs should attempt to play on the shoulder of the opposition wide midfielders as much as possible.
encouraged to scan as much as possible to be as effective as possible when in possession.
Challenge the in-possession team to make decisions on whether to play forward or recycle the ball to start the attack again.

The central zone marked the width of the 18-yard box and goes from box to box.
The attacking team should always look to have more attacking players in the area than defenders to create overload.

Coaching Points:

The attacking team should attempt to create numerical overloads as often as possible.
the out-of-possession team should either press high or drop off into a mid-block and protect - encourage players to make this decision.
