Organisation: 

Set up 7v7 pitch for SSG

Cone 10yard Safe Zones through middle & on outer wings.

Place 5 x Dome cones to create 4 quadrants to attacking 3rd

Equipment List:

10 x dome cones

2 x goals

20 x flats or small cones

10-12 balls

2 x sets of 5 bibs, plus 2 additional of 1 colour for SSG

Un-opposed Thinking (20 mins)

Organisation:

Set one team into the 4 quadrants, The ball is played into the team, The must complete minimum 5 passes. One must be backwards, One must be into the shaded side area. each player must move into another quadrant once touched the ball. finish with shot on goal.

Coaching Notes:

look for movement and creativity

look for players receiving the ball on the back foot

look for technique of shot

look for one touch passing

SSG (25 mins)

Organisation:

7v7 SSG

Leave in wide safe Zones - start unopposed in this area but only 3 seconds of time to utilise.

Look for play the FTU way, ensure only in 3 sections. High press at all times.

Coaching notes:

• Are they getting the ball up the pitch as quickly as possible into the attacking third
  
• See what players have thought off moving into a game situation
• Are Forward players being positive in 1v1 situations
• Decision making when to pass, dribble or shoot
• Receiving skills to be positive and go forward with the ball quickly
• Creative movement to hurt defenders in behind
• Finishing
