Organization:
As above. Field is 30x20. Pugg goals at each end. Players in four lines at each corner, players on the same side are on a team (yellows against grays as shown). All balls in one corner on the attacking side of the field.
Instructions:
Attacking player raises his hand to start the game. The other attacking player must overlap the dribbling player in order to score. First player should drive into the center of the grid, and then the game is live 2v2 to goals. Each team plays each side for 4 minutes then switches. Team with the most goals overall wins.
Coaching Points:
* Quick off the ball movements to beat defenders
* Staying onsides during play
* Reading the defenders (where is the space, is there good cover, are they double teaming player, etc)
* Setting up visual cues to show the 2v2 is on
Progressions:
1) If attackers are getting a lot of success, have the balls be played across to them from defending line.
2) If attackers are struggling, reduce a defender and play 2v1

4v4 Festival rules. Kick ins, defending team behind the white line on goal kicks

* Defender in front to cut off dribble? Cue for Cryuff turn
* Using body to protect ball
* Attacking 1v1s with speed
* Help players understand the rules of the game

Ball Mastery Warmup (15 mins)
Organization:
Grid as above. Grix approximately 30x30. All players in grid with ball as shown
Instructions:
Players dribble in the area after listening to coaches command. Coach will use a variety of touches and different dribbling techniques:
-Inside touches
-Outside touches
-Strong/weak foot touches
-Soll roll touches
-Laces touches
-Outside cut technique
-Inside cut technique
-Review Cryuff Turn
-Review passing (half players with balls, half without balls)
-Skill of the week
Coaching Points:
* Qaulity touches on the ball
* Eyes up after every touch to watch out for other players
* Short 'Messi' touches to keep the ball close, big 'Ronaldo' touches to push the ball into space to go faster
Progressions:
1) Knockout in the same area (players must control their ball while trying to knock other players balls out of the area with poke tackles
