Set up as shown with a 3v1 situation in one corner. After a set number of passes the team in possession has to break out with a forward run with the ball or without. When the ball leaves the area the defender can make a recovery run (change this player regularly).
Coaching Points
Maintain good possession in the corners
Don't force the issue
Try to keep your body between the ball and the recovering defender.

Technique (5 mins)
Players pass the ball and move amongst themselves in their areas. On the coach's whistle or after a set number of passes, the next player in possession runs the ball to the diagonally opposite group.
The reason for this particular organisation is to create a little bit of chaos in the middle of the area without too much disruption. In the middle place a triangle of cones for prescribed move.
Pass the ball to the remaining 2 players at an appropriate distance from the square.
Coaching Points
Positive first touch
Run at pace
Play it with the front foot (every 3 or 4 paces)
Head up after every touch (assess the situation)
