Organization:
20 x 30 grid with 10 x 10 grid inside
Half the players inside the grid, no ball
Half the players outside the grid, 1 ball per player
Instructions:
- Inside player looks to find an open outside player outside the grid
- Inside players receives the ball from outside player and returns the ball with 2-3 touches
- Inside player then must return to center before looking for a different green player to repeat action
Coaching Points:
Eye contact between passer + receiver; communication; close control; quick turn, look early to find open green player; weight of pass; locked ankle; receive with small touch
Progressions:
- Coach specifies surface of foot to receive with
- Outside players start with ball in hands
- Toss to receiving player in the air to work on using different parts of the body

Organization:
Same set up as previous screen
Instructions:
- Inside player now receives the ball, turns to dribble into small box, and must find a outside player without a ball to pass to
- Inside player returns to small box and repeats activity
Coaching Points:
Eye contact between passer + receiver; communication; close control; quick turn, look early to find open green player; weight of pass; locked ankle; receive with small touch
Progression: Jog into small box, accelerate out of small box as checking towards the ball

Set up: 20 x 20 grid; partner up with one team of 8 players with remaining players as defenders
Instructions: successful pass through a gate to a teammate will be a goal at any gate throughout the grid. Be sure to remind them about looking up and weight of the pass so that the opponent does not steel the ball. Defense scores by knocking or stealing ball. 1 minute intervals. Losing team does burpees.
Coaching Points: body mechanics, balance, weight of pass, accuracy, vision, tactical application to the game as in selection of pass and timing of runs and pass.
Progression: pass with right only, pass with left only. Add a defender.

Instructions: On coaches command one of the lines will dribble to the opposite line, when the first line is about halfway the other group will begin to dribble to the opposite end of the grid while avoiding the other group.
Coaching Points:Heads up to running into eah other; surface of foot used to dribble (laces and pinky toe)
Progressions: Have players dribble with one foot or surface only: have both groups go at the same time; head up the speed of play
