Attack - midfielder on the ball is looking for a pass or direct through ball. Supporting mid fielder is looking to protect player on the ball to allow time a space for him to make the pass. Forwards, looking to create the space to allow pass/trough ball to occur. If pass is made, they should look for the opportunity to play through ball

Defence - looking to keep line to create off side trap if poss - close gaps to prevent through ball. lots of communication
