Organization: Players in pairs. Player 1 dribbles to end of grid and performs different coerver turns and the dribbles back, tags partner who goes next.
Instructions: Go through Inside chop, outside chop, stepover turn. Both feet.
Coaching Points: Get back quickly after turn. Change of pace after turn. Quality of moves.

Organization: Players in groups of 3s. Cones as shown.
Instructions: Player with the ball passes to player in middle, who attempts to turn and get past the defender and then dribbles at speed to cone and becomes the next passer. Rotation: Passer becomes defender, defender becomes reciever, receiver becomes passer.
Coaching Points: Check to and call for ball. Check shoulder to spy the defender. Use a variety of turns. Once past the defender, get between the defender and the cone, and accelerate with speed. Quality of passes.

Organization: Coach plays the ball and player from each line tries to win the ball and score in either goal.
Instructions: Try to go against different opponents each time. Progress to 1v2 and 2v2. Start with token pressure and build up to full pressure.
Coaching Points: Step in front of the player to win the ball. Techniques of poke tackles and block tackles. Be patient and do not dive. Stay in front, delay, and wait for a mistake. When in Pairs - Proper angle and distance of support.

Cones & Turns (10 mins)
Organization: Players in pairs, each with a ball. Each set/group has a row of 5 cones about 1 yard apart and then a 6th cone about 10 yards beyond.
Instructions: Players weave through tight cones with a variety of touches race to last cone, performs a turn, and get back to start as quickly as possible. Then partner goes. Change type of touches and turn every 2 minutes. Every 3 changes, add fitness activity in. Touches, Turns, Activities include:
Touches - inside of both feet, right foot only, left foot only, outsides of both feet only, push-stop (at each cone), pull Vs, sole rolls though cones.
Turns - Inside chop, outside chop, stepover turn, emerson (ronaldo) chop, cryuff turn, maradona turn
Activities - feet together & jump over cones, 1 footed jump over cones right foot only, left foot only, touch each cone then back to beginning like a relay race.
Coaching Points: little light touches, keep control of ball and keep ball close, head up, change of pace/touches when through tight cones, and then get back to the begginning as fast as you can. Try to go as fast as possible while under control.
