Change of Direction Ex Sm Sided Game (15 min)
Defender plays ball to Attacker & closes down. A uses change of direction & turning to get to goals & score. 20 seconds or goal. A & D switch ea 3 minutes. CP: Reach, cut, block, accelerate away. Immediate pressure, curved approached to take one side away, jocky. Be creative & unprictable.

Defender plays ball to Attacker and closes down. A must cross shooting line before shooting. D may score if ball is won. Encourage change of direction play & turning. Switch A & D ea 3 minutes.

Angle of Support Expanded Small Sided Game (15 min)
4 vs 4 + 2 with 4 neutral targets, 4 attacking players try to keep possession against 4 defenders with the help of 2 neutral players and 4 targets, Team scores a point for 7 consecutive passes without losing possession or by connecting one pass to each neutral target players, Play 3 x 4 minute games rotating neutrals and target players each round
Variation - Team scores a point by passing to any of the 4 target players who then return it to the attacking team with 3 or less touches
COACHING POINTS Passing and receiving technique, Movement off the ball (proper angles of support), Early support (before the player is under pressure), Composure on the ball
Awareness by players off the ball (proper spacing), Communication by all

6 v 6 ea 2 min or two goals switch, ball starts with keeper
Restrictions: 5 connected passes & one of the following (1-2 pass, short-short-long, wall pass, overlap, etc.) before shooting
Coaching Points: Movement off the ball, move the ball quickly, look for penetrating balls into the attacking 1/3
