Change the point of attack
Orginisation
6 v 6 + boucners positioned betweeen the 2 small goals.
Area appox 40 x 50
Explanation
Yellow players play 2-1-3 formation
Red team play 3-2-1
Small goals 2 meters in form corner.
Play starts from end bouncers. Bouncer's rotate every 2-3 minutes.
Initially, both teams can play both bouncers
Number 9's player task is to try and play the ball back in the opposite direction from which the ball came.
Offside rule applies
Team task
Can we drag defenders out of position by passing in the opposite direction to which the ball was played.
Player Tasks
,8,10, identify opportunities to change direction as quickly as possible.
10, can you run the ball in the opposite direction to which you received it
7,11, make the pitch big in transition BPO-BP
9, can you look to play in the opposite direction to which you received the ball.
Coaching cues
When it comes from one direcetion, can you play it to the other direction.
When we win it back, can you always see the ball and one of the goals? ( Body Shape)
When we win it back, can you score in as few passes as possible?
Move the ball as quickly as possible with the fewest touches you can.
Can you think one or two moves ahead
Variation,
You can only play the bouncer in your colours
If you receive off your bouncer, you can't play back to him.
One player from your team must make a first time pass before you can score.

Coaching Cues
When we build our attack ,can we move the Centre Backs out of position by switching the point of attack?
If passing lanes are blocked, can we go to the other side?
Make the pitch as big as possible
Position your body so you can see as much of the pitch as possible.
Can our fullbacks make runs from deep to create an overload in wide areas.
Whenever possible try to play quick forward passes.

Session Objective
Improve our ability to unorganise opposition defenders
Passing Practice
Pass in sequence as per diagram. 2-5 to be level and outside polls.
Correct weight of pass so 2-5 can take the defender out of the game with one touch.
10 to play back to were the ball come from and 6-8 to change the point of attack to the opposite 7-11
7-11 play to 9 who lays ball off for 10 to shoot.
10 shoots and goes back to 3-4 position and starts sequence again.
Variation
10 now plays in the opposite direction to where the ball came from
Introduce another 9 and 7-11 play furthest 9 on an angle who play a square pass to the other 9 to set for the shot. ( Not in diagram )
Coaching points
Correct weight of first pass to all 2-5 to beat their man
2-5 to drive firm pass into 9-10
9-10 to cushion the pass to 6-8 so they can play first time
7-11 to play firm pass to 9 who cushions touch to shooting 10
6-8 to play in front of 7-11
