passing penetration drill (20 mins)

4v1: passing penetration drill

-Play 4v1 in an 8x8 grid.

-once you get 3 consecitive passes, then look for the penetrating ball to the far target player.

-The two side players sprint up the sideline to support the target player.

-The middle player simply turns around to join the group.

6v6 (20 mins)

4v4 in middle with 2 players as target players on the endline.

-The objective is to move the ball from side to sided using penetraing passes to the target players.

-target players should move shide to side to create options for the field players.

-Good supporting runs from field players to the target players will increase ball speed.

5v5 diagoanl endzone game (20 mins)

5v5 diagonal endzone game:

-The objective is for your team to play into your color endzone with diagonal runs that are timed.

-Because the endzones are diagonal from each other, then the emphasis will be the diagnoal runs into the endzone and switching the ball quickly. Movement off the ball will also help in this exercise.
