Main Activity (20 mins)

Organization: 

• 2 50 x 30 boxes

Instructions: Free flowing game. 

• Goal Keeper starts the game at the top of the 18. If there is not enough players, coach starts play from there. Object of blue team, score in any of the three goals in front. A goal is worth 5 if the ball touches both boxes for blue.  Defending team in pink, can send a player from Box B to box A making it a 3 v 2 once the ball enters box A.  

Coaching Points/Questions: Pink - Where can we pressure to create a quick turnover? Who can we pressure? who should be the first to pressure the ball? Who should be his cover?

A: The #9 should pressure #4 as soon as he/she touches the ball. Containment and #9 should push the #4 where there is defensive help. #7, 10, can be the covers if #9 pushes to the right side and #11 pinches in to create balance on both sides.

Regressions/Progressions:

• R- Create a touch restriction for blue (two touches max), and or have to finish with one touch. R2. Take the #6 in blue off the field, creating one less option to pass to. 
• P. If Blue wins the ball in ex., box B, they have to score in box A.  P2- Blue can have four players in any box with the ball, creating a number advantage in each box for blue.
