SSG- No Contact, players can defend but cannot tackle, stop play and remind players if there is contact.

Split the group in half, try to divide by shirt colours or dark/light. Players are given positions in a diamond formation defenders and strikers stay in the end zones, mids stay in the neutral zone. Switch player positions so everyone has the opportunity to play each one.

All restarts are from kick ins, or goal kicks. Start from a goal kick after a goal is scored, the attacker has to drop to the dashed line. This will teach players the concept of building out from the back.

No goaltenders, or use of hands during play.

Coaching points-

Keep up the energy and intensity during the activities.

For the ssg we are looking to teach the players basic positioning in a 4v4 or 3v3 shape. Encourage movement off the ball to receive passes or create openings for dribbling.

Distance high five cheer.
