Arrival finishing drill (20 mins)

Players lined up in 2 teams with GK in each goal from opposition team or small goals with no GK if more appropriate. All player start behind the red cone, ball each apart from the first player in line. On coach's command the first player from each line sprints around the far orange cone and faces the next player in line who passes the ball out to them. The player has to receive the ball, turn past the cone and shoot on goal from the shooting zone. A point is awarded if the player scores and a bonus point for scoring first. The player then collects their ball and join the back of the line.

2 team shooting competition (25 mins)

Teams take it in turns to have a shot at goal that has to be taken from the shaded area. Players make a pass to the nearest 'setter' to them and get the ball back. They then play a second pass across to the other 'setter' before having a first time shot at goal. Player collects their ball, joins the back of their own line and the other team have their shot. Most goals scored in a set time frame wins the game before the 'setter' players are changed.
