Set Up Tip:
- If the space allows set up your triangles to the side of your main activity. This allows for a quick transition.
- Set up your main actvitiy within your scrimmage field so you don't have to put out a new set of cones.

Turning Intro Oppossed (10 mins)
Organization:
- 30x30 area
- 6 trianlges
- 6 players with a ball 3 players without
Instructions:
- Blue players in blue must dribble around and avoid be tagged by a red player
- Red players count how many times they touch another players ball
- Blue players count the amount of triangles they change direction in.
Play for 45 seconds to 1 minute before changing defenderss
Coaching Points/Questions:
- Low body postion when turning
- Awareness of when to turn
- Are players allowed to use an outside hook?
Regressions/Progressions:
- Remove some of the triangles

Turning 1vs1 (20 mins)
Organization:
- Using the same layout as before bring one of the red cones closer so its 5 yards from the gate.
- Balls start with red team
- 2 goals for each group (4 total)
Instructions:
- Red player dribbles to the line and performs a turn of their choice
- Defender in blue is allowed to chase down the ball after the turn and cannot pass their cone.
- The red player must finish in one of the goals
- If the defender wins the ball they cannot score in the goal the red was dribbling towards
- Switch every few minutes.
Coaching Points:
- "Explosive" turns to loose the defender
- Composure: If the defedner recovers are players able to turn again and score.
- Big touches to drive to the goal
- Are players able to use an outside hook?
Progressions/Regressions:
- Award 3 points if a player can aim for one goal, turn and score in another.
- Increase number by adding an extra defender to block a goal and a support player for the attackers to create a 2vs2.
