Organization:
1.30 x 30 yard area set up as shown
2.12 players set up as shown
3.1 ball per player
4.Assign each side a number as shown
Instructions:
1.Coach calls number one or two
2.Players on the corresponding sides to the number called run with the ball to the opposite sides
3.Players race each other to stop ball on opposing line
Coaching Points:
1.Positive first touch out of the feet
2.Head up and observe situation
3.Head down when playing the ball to ensure good contact
4.Play with the laces of the foot closest to the ball
Progressions:
P – Call both numbers at the same time to make players make a decision on when to run with the ball and when to dribble
R – Each side is given its own number (1 - 4), and numbers are called out one at a time

Organization:
1.- 30 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2.- 6 players (3 Attackers, 3 Defenders) set up as shown
3.- 1 ball (Additional around the outside)
Instructions:
1.- Players score by dribbling or passing the ball through one of their two designated goals situated in the corners of the area
2.- One team attempts to score in goals labeled (A) and the other in goals labeled (B), these goals can be different colors so that players can easily visualize where they’re trying to score
3.- If the ball leaves the area the game is restarted with a kick-in
4.- Play for a set time limit
Coaching Points:
1.- Controlled approach
2.- Appropriate turn to protect or change direction
3.- Bend the knees to create a platform to accelerate
4.- Turn into space
5.- Take away with the nearest foot and surface
6.- Head up after turning for next action
Progressions:
P – Reduce the size of the area
R – Reduce numbers of players to 1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 2

Organization:

2.- 12 players ( 2 teams of 6 ) set up as shown

Story / Description:
1.- Players are placed with a partner. One is a cat the other is a dog
2.- When the coach yells Cats or Dogs, the animal he calls has to run away to the safe area
3.- The animal that is not called, has to catch the other before they get to the safe zone
Coaching Points:
1.- Try to get away quickly to the safe zone by using big touches
2.- Think about what part of the foot you should use to kick the ball
Progressions:
1.- Each player has a ball which they have to get to the safe zone
2.- Increase the distance to the safe zone

Organization:
1.- 20 x 20 yard area set up as shown
2.- 6 players set up as shown
3.- 2 balls (Additional at starting position)
Instructions:
1.- Two players from opposite sides of the area dribble to the right of the middle marker, turn and then shoot
2.- As soon as the shot is taken players from the other two corners set off for the marker
3.- The players that have taken their shot move to fill the open corner and wait for their next turn
4.- Coach can change the direction of the dribble and turning technique to challenge players further
5.- Play for a set time limit
Coaching Points:
1.- Controlled approach
2.- Quick turning action
3.- Use nearest foot and surface to go into attacking space quickly
4.- Change of speed after turn to get onto the ball quickly
5.- Head up after turn to observe the goal
Progressions:
P – Add goalkeepers
P – Change central marker so that players dribble behind each other and then turn to shoot at goal
P – Central marker is changed for a passive defender
R – Reduce the size of area
R – Players go one at a time and work in groups of four

Organization:
1.- 20 x 20 yard area with four cones set up in each corner, set up as shown
2.- Disc cones
3.- Tall cones
4.- Soccer balls
Story / Description:
1.- Four pirate ships have found a desert island
2.- In this island is tresure!
3.- The pirates must swim from their pirate ship to the island and then swim back to the ship
4.- They can not use their hands to bring back the treasure as they need this to swim with
Coaching Points:
1.- Have the pirates crawl on the floor to show how they swim
2.- Make sure to kick your legs
3.- Maybe you can wear the treasure?
Maybe you can kick the ball into the sea?
Progressions:
1.- Add a shark (coach) who patrols the island looking to eat pirates
2.- The shark can not eat pirates that have treasure, it may break their teeth!
