Setup
1- Pair up players. Have cones across from each other 15 yards apart.
Instructions
1- One player in the middle dribbles toward opposite player and leaves ball. Player dribbles in direction the ball came from. Play is continuous.
2- Players on side are passing ball back and forth. As many touches taken as needed.
Coaching Points
1- Timing of the pass...when to wait, when to release.
2- Weight of pass.
3- Can we speed up play by having our first touch create a better angle to play.
4- Accuracy.
5- Communication.

Setup
In a 15x30 grid, using cones, create 2 15x15 squares.
Instructions
1- Play 4v1. Defender holding penny in hand. Players work cone to cone to receive passes.
2- Once 5 passes are completed, ball travels to other grid to target person. Players on side shuffle to the other grid. Play resumes and goal of 5 passes starts over.
3- If defender wins ball, hands over penny to player who made the error.
Coaching Points
1- What is the goal of keeping possession? We possess the ball to do what?
2- Good, accurate passes.
3- Weight of pass.
4- First touch.

Setup
Full field. Divide into two teams with goalies. Two players in outside wing position with different colored jersey.
Instructions
1- Play 4 v 4.
2- Players in outside wing position, play for both teams. Whoever passes the ball to them, they continue to play with that team. No one is allowed to defend in outside wing grid. Outside wing can't leave grid.
3- In order to score, ball must travel to outside wing position before a shot can be taken. Progression...lift restriction. One point for a goal, Five points for a goal off a pass from outside wing.
Coaching Points
1- Passing accuracy and weight of pass.
2- Head up looking to penetrate with dribble or pass.
3- Shape. Getting ball to outside wing to create more space to play.
4- Finishing.
5- Communication.

Light jog down and back
High knees down, heel kicks back
Shuffle down and back
Skip down and back
Jog 5 steps, pull in knee for hamstring stretch, repeat all the way down
Lunges back
Jog 5 steps, raise knee up and rotate out, repeat all the way down
Jog 5 steps, raise knee up and rotate in, repeat all the way back
Jog 5 steps forward, jog 5 steps backward, then sprint...do this down and back
