Fitness/agility Circuit

1.) There are 4 cones (A,B,C & D) with 4 stations set up in the middle of the circle

2.) Starting from point A:

- The player will jog forward to the cone in the in the middle

- They will then go to their right and over the hurdles (2 feet together) and then jog to cone B

- From there they will jog into the middle and go through the ladder (1 foot) and into cone C

- From cone C into the middle and side step quickly in and out of the small cones and into D

- Finally from D back into the middle to move quickly side-stepping around the poles without knocking them over. Jog back into cone A

3.) Increase the pace of the circuit (have competition to see which team can get back first) High-five to determine when the next person goes

4.) Reverse the direction so players are running to their left

Introducing the ball

1.) Keep all the equipment from the fitness circuit

2.) Have half the players on the outside (in blue bibs) with a football and the other half (in green bibs) in the middle

3.) The players should play a one-two pass (one touch) with the player on the outside and complete any station in the middle before going to a different player to receive another pass

4.) After 1 explosive minute in the middle players should swap with those on the outside and do the same

Session variations:

- Volley's (left and right foot)

- Control with thigh and volley

- Control with chest and pass

- Header with feet on the ground and then a higher header with feet off the ground

- Lie on the floor, jump up and head the ball
