Jockeying Variations

Organization:

Staggered line of cones - about 2 yards apart - Make as many stations as you need for players - should be no more than 2/3 each station

Instructions:

ROUND 1: Get into jockeying position and get through the course

ROUND 2: Get into jockeying position and then accelerate up to last cone everytime then jockey back (so essentially you're jockeying at each cone area twice)

ROUND 3: (Place ball on every other cone starting at second cone) After jockeying to that cone, recgonize where the ball is dribble back to the previous cone. Leave ball there and jockey to next ball. Continue until you get through the course

Coaching Points/Questions:

Low, athletic position

Use outside to push when chaning direction

Body positioning

Balance

Regressions/Progressions:

Add mental questions while exercise is being complete
