Organization:
1. 10x20 grid set up as shown
2. Separate players into groups of two
3. One ball per group of two
Instructions:
1. Player A passes the ball to Player B trying to get it between Player B's legs.
2. Player B then tries to pass the ball between Player A's legs.
3. Players continue passing until alotted time has passed or alotted score has been reached.
4. Scoring:
a) If ball goes between player's legs = 2 points
b) If ball hits either of player's legs = 1 point
c) If ball does not touch player = 0 points
5. Players work together trying to gain the most points.
Coaching Points:
Passing - Push (Inside)
1. Angle of approach – center
2. Supporting foot is next to the ball pointed at target
3. Head up observe your target
4. Contact ball - middle
5. Contact foot - inside
6. Ankle locked with toe pointed up
7. Follow through towards target with striking foot remaining open throughout
8. Body weight over the ball
9. Weight and accuracy of pass
Progression(s):
1. Working together - first team to 10 points
2. Working together - most points in 2 minutes
3. 1v1 - playing against each other: most points in 2 minutes
4. 1v1 - playing against each other: ladder, winners move up, losers move down
Regression(s):
1. Move players closer to each other

Organization:

2. Two teams
3. One ball per group (extras can be placed on the outisde)
Instructions:
1. The game is to see how many times a player can knock the ball off the cone using various passing techniques
2. If player a knocks the ball of the cone then they replace the ball back on top of the cone while their partner gets ready.
3. Players will play for 2 minutes, add up points and move on to another partner.
Coaching Points:
1. Head up to observe target
2. Ball contact - middle
3. Ankle locked,toe pointed up
4. Follow through towards target with striking foot remaining open throughout
5. Body weight over the ball
6. Weight and accuracy of pass
Progressions:
1. Can only use weaker foot to score.
2. Change the distance.
3. Change the type of pass

Organization:

2. Three teams of 4 players
3. Two teams play while one team sits
4. One ball
5. Games last 3 mins
Instructions:
1. Two teams play, trying to score a goal
2. Once the time has expired, one team gets water while the sitting team steps on to the field of play.
3. Continue rotation of teams sitting vs playing until session is complete.

d. Combination, cant use the same surface twice

3. Drop the ball, do not throw it in the air
