Small rectangle (Y) within larger one (X). Every player has a ball and they begin spread across X, ignoring Y. Players move at pace with the ball using the outside and laces of both feet. After 90 seconds coach signals for them to switch to Y, focusing on close control in a tighter space, ball manipulation with the inside and sole of both feet.
Progression: Add ball manipulation skill to enter Y and another to exit (e.g outside cut to enter, cruyff to exit). Continue 90 sec cycles.
