Organizational Set up (90 mins)
Objective:
Reinforce defensive principles (pressure, cover, balance) while maintaining an attacking identity based on relationism.
Warm-Up (8 minutes)
Dynamic Warm-Up: Focus on agility, quick changes of direction, and acceleration/deceleration to simulate defensive movements.
Defensive Principles Drill (20 minutes)
Set-Up: Use the designated area of the pitch for a 6v5 (4 def + 1CDM or 4 Mids + 1 -#10)
One team defends compactly (focusing on pressure, cover, and balance), and looks to limit passes thru gaps. The other team aims to break down the defense by splitting the line. After 10 passes, they can score on the pugg nets near the D. Meanwhile defenders can regain possession and attack exterior pugg nets.

5v5 + 4 (one group) other group SQA (t-drills - box - pure 40 yd sprint) (15 minutes + switch groups) (30minutes)
Set-Up: Use a third of the pitch for a 5v5 with two large nets plus gks. Ball is played in to one team and they look to split opponents to a teammate. Game is played continuously until ball is out of play.
