Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Condition- multiple goal game, goals can be scored exactly the same way as a normal match, 3 touch rule, extra goals will be awarded for for completing 7 passes which is worth 1 extra goal, passes hit in each section of the pitch will be awarded an extra goal. 1 player from each team will be allowed to be used as a bounce pass, that player on the touch line can not be tackled and has the whole touch line to work up and down. every 2 mins the touch line player changes with team mates.
challenge- pass in each section to be awarded extra goals, complete 7 passes to achieve extra goals.
Targets- pass in each section, going backwards to come forwards, winning team has the most goals at the end of 20min session. at 10 mins a 2 min intervention by coach.
communication style- non verbal but ensure that communication is short closed questions can be asked, at 10 min half time communication can be more open questions to get the players thinking about the end output.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions)
Progression - increase the amount of passes to 10, reduce the area size to make it harder, each player must touch the ball. extra goals awarded for a headed goal.
observe indviduals to set them challenges
Regression- unlimited touches of the ball, bounce touch line player can move anywhere over the pitch. remove sections on the pitch. only allowing players to stay in certain sections.
