Organization:
- As shown. Teams of 3.
Instructions:
- Players must score from their attacking half.
- Should ball go out of play or a goal is scored in white's attacking half, a red player enters on the dribble (same for red).
- Play for 3 minutes, keep score.
Coaching Points:
- Quickness to enter field when ball goes out of play (ability to run with the ball).
- Ability to go from attack to defense, think about what's next.
- Recognition of run when transitioning to defense (do I have the angle to press the ball immediately or do I need to make a deeper run and recover?
- Ability of attacker to recognize defender's momentum and body shape and when to change direction and go to goal.
- Quality of final touch to eliminate defender or open up a chance to score. Quality of finish.

Organization:
- As shown. 2 teams of 6 or more.
Instructions:
- Teams play continuous 3v2s.
- One team starts with 3 players attacking (white as shown).
- Player who makes the last action for the attacking team (player A on white), drops out.
- 3 new attackers from opposite team (red) enter the field (one with a ball).
- The remaining 2 defenders (white) attempt to win the ball off the 3 new attackers.
- Should the last action be made in the attacking half of the team with 3 players, same rotation occurs (opposite team enters with 3, player who made the last action drops out).
- Should the defending team (team with 2 players) win the ball and make the last action, 3 new attackers come in and no player drops out.
Coaching Points:
- Transitional moments (recognition to go from attack to defense).
- Decision making of player in possession (can I commit defenders, recognize the more advantageous 2v1.)
- Timing of run of 2nd attackers (leave space for teammate to play into, can I shape my run so that I'm able to score with my 1st touch?)
- Recognition to split defenders with straight or diagonal pass.
