Organization: -Players 20 x 20 or 30 x 30 playing area.
-Each player with a ball.
Instructions: -Free dribble for the players.
-Must reach 100 touches on the ball.
-Coach will perform different skill moves (feint, scissors, stop and go). Players must try to copy.
-1 point for every successful skill move performed.
Coaching Points: -Small touches (Messi) on the ball when in tight spaces.
-Larger touches (Ronaldo) on the ball when space is in front.
-Dribbling with the pinky toe/outside laces.
-Remembering to look up after every touch.
-Feint technique: Switching body wait from dribbling foot -> to non-dribbling foot -> and then back to dribbling foot to dribble the ball away. (Exit touch with outside of foot).
Progressions: P: Players can only use weak foot.

- 3 defenders (Black)
Instructions: - Attacking players (red and blue) will dribble through gates.
- Each dribble through a gate is a point for the attacking team.
- The defending players (black) cannot touch the ball, they can only stand inside one of the gates to block it off.
-Attacking players cannot dribble through a gate in which a defending player stands.
Coaching Points: -Small touches (Messi) on the ball when in tight spaces.

Instructions: -Free play for the players to enjoy and get touches on the ball.
Coaching Points: - Encourage players to try different skill moves to beat opposition.
Progressions: No progressions. Let the players play.

1v1 Tag Warm-Up (15 mins)
Organization: -2 seperate grids set up (or more depending on number of players.)
-One defending player (blue) versus attacking player (red).
-Attacking players will have pinnie in their side pocket.
Instructions: -Attacking player must try to run past defending player without losing their pinnie.
-If attacking player loses their pinnie, they are now the defender.
Coaching Points: -Motor skill development: change in direction, staying on toes, agility.
-Keeping the head up in order to know where the defender is.
-Different body movements to try and fool the defender.
-Look for players to utilize body feint movement.
Progressions: R: -Remove defender, replace with cone. Have the players practice body feint movement on cone.
P: Attacking players with a ball, must try to dribble past defenders.
