Passing Drill (25 mins)

Organization: 2x diamonds from 10x10.

Instructions: The players go through passing rotations and follow their pass.

1) A-B, B-C, C-D, D-E, E dribbles back.

2) A-C, C-B, B-E, E-D, D dribbles back.

3) A-D, D-B, B-E, E-C, C dribbles back.

Coaching Points: Accurate passing, movement after the pass, opening up the body for the next pass.

Progressions: Add a time limit (connect as many rotations).

U15 2v1 in 3 Areas (20 mins)

Organization: 3 Areas, 3v1 in each designated area

Instructions: Players must find combination passes inside their area to create passing plays

Coaching Points: Attacking players must be able to move without the ball to give options to the ball Carrier. The ball must find passing lanes inside their area and into the other areas quickly to give defender less tire to cover. Defending team must try and close passing lanes in their area and the gaps in between areas

Organization: 3v1 possession with Shot on goal

Instructions: Players must zig zag through cones before coming in to play 3v1. After 5 passes find a way at goal.

Coaching Points: Players need to build triangle and move without the ball. recognize after 5 passes that they must be agressive and score on goal.
