Split your players into two teams if you have pinnies use them as it helps with clarity. Have the teams stand either side of the coach with a soccer ball each roughly about 10 yards apart.
All players must be in the shooting zone to score. The red player goes first and scores in either of the two goals, as soon as his ball goes out of bounds the blue player attacks. This red player must defend the blue. Once the blue players ball goes out of bounds the next red will attack. After each player has defended they should get a ball and return to their line.
Can we attack the open goal first.
If the defender recovers can we change direction.
once our ball has gone out of bounds can we transition into defence quickly.

2v2,
Coach will play the ball into the grid. Players will play 2v2 and attach the open space/goal. Goals are facing backwards to force the players to quickly attack the full space before the def. can recover. If defence cuts of the the space, the attackers should quickly turn and go to the open goal space off the pass or dribble. encourage the correct decision Pass?? or Dribble?? What is open??
