THE SESSION:
A really fun (Players Love It) small sided game to work on Attacking Overloads & Defending Outnumbered. Players will experience lots of different sized Overloads & Underloads and will have to adapt to each.
1. Players face a member of the opposite team at the halfway line.
2. Players then play Rock, Paper, Scissors - first to 1.
3. Players who WIN stay on the pitch - Thoses who LOSE leave the pitch.
4. Once the players are sorted the Coach plays a ball into the pitch.
5. If the ball goes out the game is done.
6. players meet in the center of the pitch for another game
If one team wins all the R,P,S, and face no member of the opposing team they have 5 seconds to score.
PROGRESSION:
1. Competition Element - First team to 10 goals win.
2. Bonus goals for scoring when outnumbered.
KEY MESSAGES:
-Time of the Movements (movement before the pass)
-Quality of Pass
-Receive back foot
-Break the line
-Make the overload count
