Using the conditioned games from the previous sessions we now want to focus on bringing all the topics together
during the session we will put an emphasis on building up in numbers of attack (numerical advantage) to then dealing with situations when numbers are even or down
Using the conditioned games we want to identify specific moments to teach the players how to be successful when penetration of defensive blocks.
Please Note: there are multiple activities to choose from and even though they all link you do not need to get through all of them. there are activities both universal to many attacking position and position specific please choose the ones you want to focus on for your groups

Instructions
scenario/atribute #10 penetrating from angled runs trying to draw the defender out away from goal in order to create gaps of penetration.
-both teams will attack and defend
- team A will have a defender protecting the goal in front of them while the opposite team B will try to attack their goal getting behind the yellow line to score ,defender must start in front of the yellow line.
-once the opposite team B score or the play breaks down they The player from B who was attacking will now make a recovery run and become the defender protecting their goal from the A teams next attacker in line.
-If the defender steels they will transition to the blue box and play will reset allowing the defender to get back in front of their goal before play starts again.

Progressions
-Play 2v2 to goal #9-#10 ,1 team will protect both goals and the other will be attacking switch roles after 2 minute rounds
-#9 to stay high inline of last defender and check in or run in behind
-#10 to run from deep driving in at angles looking to create room for penetration.

Instructions
-game starts with a pass into to attackers from the defenders. the defenders will then go to press.
-attacking team must combine to score for a point .if the defenders steel they can combine and transition to score in the opposite goal.

Organisation
20x20 grid with to end zones/side channels
2 target players
two teams of 7 Right winger & 11's left winger
instructions
1. 11 or 7 will attack first coaches choice and the other team will defend
2. 1 player from both teams will start out when coach says go the attacking player with the ball they will try to conect a pass with the opposite target player for a point .
3.if the defender intercepts ot steel they must transition to connect a pass with the other target playeron the opposite side.
4.rotation- once the game finishes the attacker and defender become the target players and the target players rotate to the back of the line.
5.after a set amount of rotations swap the attacking and defending roles between the 7&11.
Progression
- attacking players can connect a pass for 1 point or they can penetrate individually and score 2 by getting in the opposite end zone.
-add 4 pug goals in as shown on the diagram now the target player becomes a (9 center forward) and can score for 3 points for both player involved in the attack with a 1 touch finish.
Coaching points
1. Attack space ahead (bigger 1st touch).
2. Head up to see defenders position and observe target.
3. Protect ball if continue to dribble (put body between defender and ball).
4. Attacker to use stop start to create space to penetrate with a pass or dribble to score

players split into groups of 2-3 players per gate

defending team to have GK
Have 2 grids set up if space and numbers permit.
Instuctions
-players go 3 v 1 to goal for a point using all they have learned during the session about movement and passing & receiving surfaces attackers vs defenders
-if defender steels they can transition to the gates for a point
-attackers rotate possitions every game
-defender + GK changes every game
-after a set amount of time switch the groups over atacking group to become defender and defending group to become attackers..

players split into two teams
Instructions:
-two teams will play 3v3 but 1 player off each team is restricted to a third and position
-games will last until 1 team scores,play breaks down or after 60-seconds
-players rotate back to there side but to a new line for a different position and a new 3 from each team step in.

Instructions
-each age group will combine to make teams of 4v4 or 5v5, no GK
-the teams will compete in a round robin tournament
-3 points for a win 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss
Instructions:
- Players split up into 3-4 teams and play a round robin tournament where all teams play.
- players must not step inside the red cone areas in front of goal this will stop goaltending ,the players must shoot from outside the area

2.Team mates create gaps, can player in possession look to dribble into them

WS Restarts week 7
-This week we will focus on the speed of restarts trying to encourage the players speed of thought and decision making to react fast and find options right away.

Organization

10-12 players per grid split into two teams of different colors
team 1 every player with a ball
team 2 1 ball for the whole group
Instructions Foundation 5 Individual possession vs Group possession
-one team must dribble around the square using different dribbling styles and ball mastery of coaches choice working on individual possession.
-the other team must pass the ball around in between the dribbling players working on group possession aspects
-after 30 second rounds the players will switch on coaches command
Competition
part 1
-on coach's command for the last 15 seconds of a round the team who is on individual possession must dribble toward the team who are keeping group possession with one ball and try to pressure their concentration and force a mistake
-if they do force a mistake all players in that team will recieve a point.
-if the group possession team keep the ball for the intire time they will win a point each.
part 2
-on coaches command the group possession team will leave there ball and go to defend and try and stell as many balls from the opposition as possible
-once they steel the ball they can go to score in one of the side goals
