Two teams each have a ball. One team is working the ball from target to target top to bottom while the other team is working their ball side to side to targets. Both teams work at the same time though theyre is no defending.
Progressions:
1. Free pass & move

3. Positive then negative pass
4. 1 touch only
5. Must do give & go with target

Two teams each have a ball and pass/move within the large area trying to pass the ball through the red gates as many times as possible. You cannot pass through the same gate two times in a row.
Progressions:
1. must pass through with a 1 touch pass
2. must do a give & go to get through the gate

Facilitate the game and help with positions, positioning, and game format. Facilitate a basic scrimmage with a goalkeeper. Allow the kids to “PLAY” but give guidance when necessary. Use a “coaching in the game” approach to emphasize the topics from this week’s training.
