Set Up
Two Groups - work both sided
Organization
1) Players, one attacker and one defender pass back and forth as shown.
2) After 3-4 passes the attacker turns through the Red gate with the ball. At the same time the defender runs trhough the Blue gate.
3) Attacker trys to dribble through and shoot on goal, the defender must recover and prevent the shot. If the defender wins the ball they must dribble through either gate to score.
Progressions
- Rotate players
- Blue Gate worth 1 point, Red gate worth 2 points

Set Up
4v2 To Goal - Width of the box to half way line
Organization
Outside player (7/11) starts with the ball and plays into central player (10). Central player immediately attacks the space. This triggers striker (9) to check to the ball. Once pass is made it creates a 4v2 to goal. Change players after set period.
Progressions
- Must score within a set time (7 seconds for example)
- Counter goals for the defensive players
- Make it a 4v3 by adding another trailing defensive player

Speed of Play - Highest intensity
Can striker turn to shoot?
Play forward, positive, always looking for shot on goal
Movement off the ball, timed runs
Accuracy & detail of pass, reading teammates movement, playing to correct foot

SetUp
40 x 60 Area - 2 teams 6v6
40 x 10 Central Zone
Organization
Teams play 3v2 plus GKs in each half of the field. In order to play the ball into the other half an attacking player must check into the neutral zone unopposed to recieve the ball.
Progressions
1) One player from defending team can follow the attacker into the neutral zone.
2) Attacking team can send a 3rd player into the opposite zone to make 3v3
3) Remove restrictions
Coaching Points
Timing and angle of run into the neutral zone.
If pressured, shield the ball and push off defender to create space for pass back.
If touch tight use body to turn & roll the defender.
Timing of support run.

Organization
Players on the outside start with a ball. Player on Blue cone checks into the central area to receive the pass. Player turns OUT of the box and passes to opposite player.

- Add static defender to the area to provide realism
- Full pressure defending

- Receive side on
- Use front foot to turn with pressure from behind (turn while protecting the ball)
- Touch tight, use defenders body against them, roll away
