Organizational / Instructions
into teams behind the cones sitting down. use the racket and shuttle. balance it and walk, balance on head, do small taps of the shuttle
Coaching Points
still inforce the grips, for different races give them different grip to complete that has been taught to them. walk race - shuttle on racket balance it and walk up and down, have good grip arm bent in at 90 degrees walk with legs slighty bent. shuttle on head - place shuttle on head, keep posture upright walk with bent legs. hitting race - complete small taps of the shuttle up and down, good grip light tapping so that the shuttle does not travel too far, legs slightly bent, eye on the shuttle.
Progressions / Adaptations
make the length of the races smaller if they are struggling to complete the movements

two teams, attempt to get more shuttles on the other teams side

only allowed to throw one at a time, no kicking, throw over arm

into a circle, one at a time go in and do a stretch for everyone to copy
Coaching Points
static stretching - one arm across the boyd pulling from under the elbow, switch arms. arm up and behing the head oushing down on the elbow with opposite arm, switch arms. rotate head in circular motion both directions. lift foot to bum and hold it then switch.
Progressions / Adaptations
take over if they cannot think of anymore effective stretches

dont run in the same space as everyone else try to find cones to turn, keep head up scanning the room, bend down to turn the cones over and place it down dont throw it as it may bounce and turn
