Circuit session 1 (30 mins)
Circuit Session: 2min stations with 30sec rest between each station. Up to 4 players per station. Complete every station twice (24mins). 6mins to walk the players through each station before they start the session. Make sure players warm up and stretch before circuit.
Station 1: Dribble ball around yellow cones. Leave ball in the middle and sprint around red cones. Then collect ball in the middle and dribble back to the starting point and repeat.
Station 2: Players must complete 5 toe taps on the ball through each climb of the ladder and when they reach the end of the ladder they repeat the drill back down the ladder.
Station 3: Players single leg stride with high knees through small hurdels. Then double leg squats over high hurdles and repeat the drill.
Station 4: 1 player does the harness work while the other player holds the harness belt they then change over at the 1min point signaled by the coach. They work from the halfway line to the 18 yard line and back.
Station 5: Players stride through hurdles where the waiting player serves the ball and gives the returning player a command: inside of the foot, laces, chest and volley, head and so on. After every return ball they must turn and move through the hurdles and back for the next command from the server. Change at the 1min point signaled by the coach.
Station 6: Players run forward to the blue cone, run backwards to the orange cone, sprint forward to the blue cone. Then side step through the ladders, touch the yellow cone and sprint back to the start and repeat the drill.
