Organisation
5v5 in square.
18 yard line as an offside line.
How to Play
Keep possession for 5 passes then make a pass to the forward.
One player must leave the square to support striker, play 2v1 to a finish.
If defender wins the ball or keeper saves they must pass the ball into the square to their team mates.
One player is allowed out of square to receive the ball then play in.
Progression
Add another defender
2 players can support when ball is passed out of square with a recovering defender.
Attacking player can run out of the square with ball.
Different service to striker (aerial ball etc).
Possible Coaching Points
Strikers must support in relation to the ball.
Body shape on receiving ball (half turn).
Passing.
Angle of supporting run.
Awareness of forward pass.
Create space.
End product.

Organisation
Reduce numbers to 3v3 in the box.
Both teams play with a Wing Back in each channel.
How to Play
Once all midfield players have touched the ball, the pass out of the box can be to Wing Back or Striker.
(Defending team Wing Backs start passive).
The second pass must be to whichever player didn't receive (WB to Striker illustrated).
Progressions
Opposing WB becomes live on attacking WB 1st touch.
2 CB.
Recovering defender from midfield.

Note - if you don't have the numbers to replicate a midfield 5, make it a Functional Practice & just use one WB at a time. (Only play to the edge of the Penalty Area (shown by shading)).
