Players divided in squares. Player will make a pass (black dot line) and will follow the pass (red line). Next player will receive the ball, and go do the same. They play 90 seconds and switch directions (obs: make sure that, when they switch directions, they also switch what foot will receive the ball. ex: ball going to the right, right foot to receive it, ball going to the left, left foot will receive it) (depending on the skills and/or what the coach wants to work, they should also switch what foot will pass the ball).
Variations:
- Pass, get closer, receive a pass back, and put it back in the space (in front of the player)
- Pass, move to the middle of the square, receive it back and pass in the space (as showed in the example 2).
Coaching points: where should I put my first touch?; Open your hips to be able to put the ball to the side; Why should I put the third pass in the space and in front of the player?
Time: 15-20 min

In the same set-up, each square now Ideally with 6 players (5 also might work. With 5 or even 4 you can use the triangle as showed in the draw). Player with the ball needs to dribble, find a pass to one of the outside players and move to receive it back. The defender will be a "passive defender", that means they can't steal the ball, only working as a shadow for the player with the ball. After 1 minute, they switch roes (player with the ball and the defender). After one more minute, a new pair goes in the middle, and the players that were inside, get a spot on the square.
Progression: now, the defender can steal the ball if the player takes a bad first touch (What is it? a bad touch? When player loses the contact with the ball because of a poor touch, a too hard or too soft touch). If that happens, defender gives the ball back and they keep playing.
To make more competitive, the coach can give +1 point every time the player with ball loses it (Yes, points for this game isn't a good thing). Player with less points, in this game, will be the one who gave the best touches, that kept the ball under control and did the best choices.
Coaching points: Pressure is behind you, where can you give the first touch after receiving a pass?; outside players, be ready to receive a pass and be ready to pass it back in a good way; outside players: you receive the ball, where you will pass it back? on the player? Behind him/her? in front of them?; Can you switch the direction of your run to receive it with more space?
Time: 15 minutes (each pair goes at least twice in the middle).

Small sided game: each field has two teams playing against each other and two zones. To score a goal, players need to pass the ball to one of the two neutral players outside the field (in black), make a forward run to get in the zone, receive it back and make a first time shot.
Progression: now, the neutral players step inside the zone. To be able to score, the player needs to pass the ball and make the same forward run. But now, its also allowed to one of the defender to get in to try to avoid the goal. Then, we have a 2v1 situation inside the zone. For this, you can add a goalie.
Obs: neutral also in this game, can be used as a pass back, for the team in possession restart the play and get the ball safer, out of pressure.

Warm Up
Warm-Up: S.S.G with numerical advantage (2v1, 3v2, 4v3). One team always with more players than the opposite. Make sure they have space to pass the ball and move. They will start working in today's topic without thinking about it. (10-12 min)
