Instructions:Player starts in set position facing forward. When ready the player moves over first hurdle to set for volley. Catch, throw back and move over second hurdle to the outside. Repeat in opposite direction.
Coaching Points:
Focus on being balanced over the hurdles.
Hips should be facing forward, body relaxed and arms used to help pump body over hurdles.
One foot should be in contact with ground at any one point in the movement. No jumping over hurdles.

Organization:
Coned goal set up outside 6 yd box - dive to start exercise
Once saved the ball is played into the small target goals. GK then sets for dive opposite side
Instructions:
Server plays the ball low and to the side. GK1 makes save low and leaves ball for GK2. GK 2 steps forward and plays ball to target goal with inside of foot. Sets for dive to opposite side. Rotation continues with GK1 stepping forward to play the target goal after the save by GK2.
Coaching Points:
Set early in dynamic set position and watch visual cues of strike.
Attack ball forward and save with two hands (catch)
Move quickly away from ball and allow GK2 to step forward.
Second GK uses inside of foot to play firm ball to target goal.
get back on ball line and set.

Progressions:
Have a second wide set of target goals - chipping ove first set to second targt goals
Move goals back to simulate a firmer driven ball
Change service to:
bounced ball - mid height catch
volley - extension save

Instructions:
Servers 1 and 2 alternate thrown balls into GK. Service is aimed around 3 to 9 yards out to test the GK's range.
Trajectory of balls differ as the server likes (under hand or over hand service)
GK makes save and then recieves shot from Server 3 at the top of area.
Coaching Points:
Train the 'First Step' on cross
Decide early, come late
Attack the ball at the highest possible point of intercept.
Think catch, but if needed redirect ball with punch.
Save high ball then resadjust and reset for shot - ensure you are set early as possible on ball line
Progressions:
Service is kicked in from wide areas - accuracy is key
Server 3 can half volley/volley ball to change sevice
Server 3 can take 1-2 touch to change angle of shot

Session Objectives
To develop cutback positioning and decision making.
Organisation
1 - S1 serves pass to GK who sets for S2.
2 - S2 passes to wide player who dribbles in.
3 - Wide player plays low cross/ cutback whilst S2 has made forward run into box.
4 - If GK catches cross = distribute. If GK doesnt S4 passes to S1 for strike.
Work both sides.

Instructions:
Players have to take one touch with each hand and then volley to any other keeper.
Coaching Points:
Players must be ready in an active set position and ready to react to ball.
Players should focus on using finger tips to get low balls higher and palms for the higher balls.

Penatly for a bad touch is a letter 'R-E-D-B-U-L-L-S' once at Red Bulls game is over.
