Organization
12 Players + 1 GK
6 v 7
6 bibs (on defenders)
Bag of balls
Detail
Players line up like in the diagram at the starting point/height dictated by the cones on the side of the pitch
Play begins with Pink's in possession, so in a slightly expanded shape, THEN mock turn over in midfield as Pink CM dribbles or passes into Blue #4 + FB's recovering into B4
Key Factors
Same detail as Function for the 9
Now...
Highlight what the #9's movement does to the opponent- "Narrows them in"
This now creates space for:
- 7/11's to take the width
What if's?...
FB travels wide too early to 7/11?
- 8/10 break te CB/FB Channel
FB stays narrow?
- 9 can look to combine with 7/11
-7/11 drives 1v1 at FB to engage (& overload)
Scenario:
Ball in wide area and cross is likely to come in
3 Players attacking th box
-#9's attacking the box (near, middle)
IF #9 wide- not ideal but happens
-They take on ball side 8/10 role while others fill the box & attack the box

Players line up like in the diagram at the starting point/height dictated by the cones on the side of the pitch
Play begins with Pink's in possession, so in a slightly expanded shape, THEN mock turn over in midfield as Pink CM dribbles or passes into Blue #4
Key Factors
1. Penetration/Depth upon regain
Can the #9 stretch the line and be played in directly for an opportunity on goal?
If so this is the best option.
- The 9 can now check into the space off the front by taking the line back (individual mobility) or MDF's to step into (team mobility)
What ifs?...
Scenario #1: CB steps with him
- CM's to support underneath for lay off
- #9 to make a secondary run
- OR opposite 8/10 to expose spacelf by CB (team mobility)
Scenario #2: CB Stays
- #9 to turn and drive at the CB's (penetration)
- Encourage one of the 8/10's to join and break the line as well (team mobility)
Key factors for Striker
- Create time and space for self and others through counter movements Primary and secondary movements
- Quality of movement- Explosive
- Timing of movement
- Body position when recieving the ball: Ability to penetrate on a pass, dribble or shot
- Type and quality of finishing based on the distance, angle and pressure endured
- Improvisation and ultimately Patience if nothing else works
- Awarenss of CB's
