Exercise
This is a fast paced transition exercise. The game starts with the PM team 3v2. Everytime there is a shot or ball goes out, the new PM team will add 2 players and the new RM team keeps the same amount. Play on half a field the width of the penalty box.
Objective
PM: Unbalance the defense to create scoring opportunities.
RM: Press to delay to get organized to prevent progression.
Constraints
Space Half Field plus the width of the box
Play offsides rule after half of the half
Goals count 1
Counter goals with numbers down count as 2
PM: Run behind the line, dribble to penetrate or provoke, create space for others.
RM: Defend against advantages by delaying and turning numbers down into numbers even or up.

Exercise
Set up 11v11 in half the field with players used from previous exercises. Use a half line for this game. The half line will delineate the pressing line for the RM team. The RM must have 8 players in the PM half.
Objective
PM: Progress the ball forward to create chances to score.
RM: Press from a high block and recover the ball close to the opponent goal.

4v4 Diagonals (25 mins)
Exercise
Break large group into 4 groups of 12-14. Each group of 12 divided into two teams. Teams will play 4v4 to diagonal targets on the outside.
Objective
Win the game by progressing to the target.
PM: Provide mutual help to ball carrier to keep the ball depending on pressure, space, and intention of ball carrier.
RM: Recover the ball as quickly after loss as possible and progress forward.
Constraints
High intensity 4 rounds of 5 minutes with 30 second rest between. Teams must keep score.
