Activity #1 - 3 Team Rondos (15 mins)

Organization

3 teams of 5 players in 3 different grids.

15x15 yards.

15–20-yard gap between the two wide grids.

Instructions

The coach will feed a ball into one of the two wide grids to the black or blue team. That team then look to connect 3 passes as quickly as possible in a 5v2 situation against the red team who are currently defending. Once the team completes their 3 passes, they must now look to play the ball into a player from the opposite grid who checks into the space in-between the areas. That player lays the ball off to 1 or 2 players from the original box that then plays into the new grid for the process to repeat. If the defending team win the ball, they look to attack the mini goals for 2 points or play back to their own grid for one point.

Keep score.

Rotate teams after 2mins 30secs.

If they are unsuccessful, we restart from the goalkeeper or coach.

Keep the score!

Progressions
