King or Queen of The Square (15 mins)

Activity Name: Kingor Queen of The Square

Activity Description: Arrange all players in an area witha ball. Players dribble around, keeping their ball under control and trying tokick other players balls out at the same time. If a players ball is kicked outthey are out of the game. The last person in the area is the 'King' or 'Queen'of the area.

We do not want players standing around. So when a player has theirball kicked out of the area then have them perform a set skill outside thearea.

Spider Soccer

Activity Name: Spider Soccer

Description: Arrange players on one side of the area with a ball. Have several players in the middle without a ball. THE PLAYERS IN THE MIDDLE SHOULD BE ON ALL FOURS - FEET & HANDS. The players in the middle are the soccer spiders. The soccer spiders are trying to get the players as they dribble across. Each of the soccer spiders must stay on their hands and feet and crawl around the area as players dribble across, if they get close to a dribbling player they try to kick that players ball out. Spiders must use their feet to kick balls out - not their hands!

Coaching Points:

- Look up while dribbling to see where spiders are located, and to see where the space is.

- Keep ball close while dribbling.

- Use of laces, inside and outside of the foot while dribbling.

Final Game (15 mins)

Regular 5 v 5 - Final Game - No restrictions - Reinforce session topic.

- Encourage players to setup in a 3-1.

- Be sure to introduce players to the correct futsal positions (GK, Fixo, Right & Left Ala, Pivot).

- Use futsal rules - 1 passback to GK, 4 second rule on sidelines, kick-ins, corners.
