⚽Practice Organization

  • Aerobic capacity of the day
  • This plan is highly demanding in terms of it's constant movement demand along with change of direction actions (COD)

⚽Key Coaching Points

  • Player are positioned all together on the initial box line
  • We have to create 2 zones of 5 or 6 meters on each side of the pitch 
  • The zones are created in relationship with the middle line
  • Players are required to reach the middle line and change direction until they will terminate their run on the height of the 5-6 meters zone (full action will take 12'' seconds/in this particular exercise we chose 5 meters zone)
  • Work rest ration for this action is 12/16 seconds
  • From the heigh of the created zone players have to reach the opposite box line in 8 seconds
  • Work rest ratio for this action is 8/12 seconds
  • Coach indicate the start of each repetitions with his whistle blow
  • We hold this exercise for 12:00 minutes
  • We motivate the players to continue and maintain their effort
  • We praise them for their hard endeavor
