Organisation
Players to be placed onto already layed out pitches (base on age & ability) & given a football each.
The Practice
Players are to practice 'The Ronaldo 7' going through from steps 1 to 7 as follows
1. Toe Taps
2. Side to sides
3. Sticky tape (Ball roll)
4. Drag & Push
5. Step over
6. Scissors
7. Ballerina
If players get through these then encorage them to dribble around in the area (ensuring game realistic changes of pace & turns) if a whole group completes this then a coach should shout a number for the group to practice every 30 seconds/1minute.

Organisation
Staying in the same area of 22x18
Players are now to be put into pairs within their group.
1 football between each pair.
Spare football placed around the outside.
The Practice
A player from each pair starts with a ball and dribbles around the area attempting to keep the ball away from their partner. If their partner wins the ball then the roles are reversed. Players should be encouraged to be creative in possesion and to look for open spaces to dribble in to.
Progressions:
Make the drill competitive - The player in possesion after 30 seconds scores a point. Play best of 3 then swap partners.
Key Coaching Points: Focus on Defending
- Get Close & apply pressure
- Show ouside & prevent space
