Position Game
Equipment:
Square/grid 35 x 50 split into 2 equal areas. (Adjust size based on age group)
4 x markers, 2 x flags, optional small goals
Transition game Rules:
- Bouncer at each end.
- All players must be in the same half to score.
- All player must touch the ball before transitioning to the other side.
- Win possession make 3-5 passes to settle on the ball.
- Find the space with the least amount of defenders.
- Move the ball quickly.
- Body position to receive the ball facing forward.
- SHAPE - formation quickly position to reflect the style of play
- Head up to see the next pass.
- Midfield to communicate to move forward as a collective.
- Count down the time frame to score.
