Description
This session is a complement from the previous session, where we were building to play through the thirds and facilitate runs behind, however, today is a phase of transition where they will be dealing on the final 1/3 play and develop the ability to create chances through the attacking midfielders by:
Encouraging the CAMs to find space in which they will receive and play forward with the CF, making forwards and thrid-man runs

DIRECTIONAL TRANSITION GAME - OPPOSED - 25 mins
ORGANIZATION
2 pug goals, 13 to 14 players players, balls, color vests, cones
FUNCTION
area of 40 x 35 yards, add two areas of 5 x 5 yards. Split the team into two groups. add two pug goal at each end. Players are locked at their zones, and only 1 pivot will be able to drop to facilitate the build up and play it forward. The full backs are locked at their zone and they will be working for both teams (LP).

THEME POSSESSION PRACTICE - Opposed - 25 mins.
ORGANIZATION
4 counter goal, cones, color vests, balls
FUNCTION
This is a possession practice with the objective to play the higher target, that will represents as our 9 or our #10. If the team in possession was able to break the line of pressure, and pass the half/way line without any combination play, and score thay will have 1 point, if they combine with the highest target player and score, they will hv two points.
PROGRESSION
The neutral players, now will be able to step into areas zoned off with flat marker in order to create an overload. This represents either our CB stepping forward with the ball, or our CF dropping away from markers to combine.
If possession is lost this neutral players must retreat to the end line to start again with the other team.

FUNCTION
Split the group into thre teams of four plus 2 LP(link players) 2 teams of four players outside and one team of four players inside plus two fixed pivots.
Team BLUE and team YELLOW, plus the two pivots, will try to keep possession from team RED, by moving the ball around and combining with the outside players, once they complete 6 points they will rotate with the pressing team.
