Organisation:

-Set up a pitch with dimensions to suit how many numbers you are planning to have. Usually quite tight. 20x30 standard size. -Supply of Balls and Supply of Bibs on the halfway line.

Practice:

-When players arrive, they put on any colour bib, and join that team to play a norm al SSG.
-If the ball leaves play, get another ball and play on.

Blocks:

-10 minutes straight through.

Coaching Interventions:
-Practice is Player Led. Coaches do not coach or oversee.
-Coaches can use this time to set up the next practice.
-After 10 minutes practice ends and straight into next practice which should be set up and ready to go.

Organisation:

Two teams
Area set up as above
Supply of balls with the Red Team

Practice:
Red player on the mannekin receives the ball and attacks the goal. Blue defender comes out to defend 1v1. If Blue players wins ball, score in the opposite goal.
RED PLAYERS FIRST TOUCH MUST TAKE THEM PAST THE MANNEKIN.

Part 2:
When first ball goes dead, Red player sprints and touches mannekin - Blue player receives ball on the half turn from waiting blue player and attacks to try and score in the red goal.

Blocks:
6 x3 mins work.
1 min rest in between.

Coaching Points:
Receive Back Foot/Front foot with positive touch in new direction Body shape when receiving the ball
Scan before receiving

Organisation:

20x20 areas x 2
-Two defenders om each half plus goalkeepers
-Halfway line
-Balls set up by one outside cones each end
-Two players per cone if numbers allow

Practice:
-Reds play into their striker and then join in to play 3v2 against the blue defenders
-Time limit of 10 seconds per attack
-When ball goes dead, next pair attack the opposite way. Players who have just played join the back of the line in the half they have attacked.

Blocks:
2 minutes work - 30 seconds rest and swap defenders

Organisation:

-45x25 area
-Two teams of 7
-Pitch split into thirds
-Supply of Balls

Aim:
-Score in the oppositions goal
.
Rules:
-Ball must travel through the thirds - cannot miss a third out
-Player who passes into the next box can follow pass to create
overload of players
.
Progressions:
-Player can dribble into the next third with the ball
-Midfielder can advance into attacking third using an off the ball run (not in possession or passing ball forward) as well as a player dribbling in or passing in to create a 3v2
.
Coaching Points:
-When/Where to play forward
-Decision - dribble into next third if space in front or pass into different area of next third if space in front is blocked
-Find the spare man
-Create and exploit 2v1 situations
